Joan has “officially” farmed for the past five years but has been involved on the farms of family and friends her entire life. Joan specializes in spring and fall crops like root vegetables that help provide delicious and nutritious sources of local sustenance during these “shoulder” seasons. She has a wealth of veggie knowledge to share and she enjoys canning and putting up her harvest as much as she loves growing it.
