Join E4S on March 16th to learn more about how biomimicry inspires innovation from Chris Allen, Director of the AskNature project at the Biomimicry Institute. Doug Paige, the Associate Professor of Industrial Design at CIA and several CIA Industrial Design students will share how they are putting biomimicry to work to solve challenges in the Cuyahoga Valley. Beyond Pesticides will hold Greening the Community, the 28th National Pesticide Forum, April 9-10, 2010 in Cleveland, OH. The Forum is convened by Beyond Pesticides (Washington, DC), Beyond Pesticides Ohio and CWRU Dept of Environmental Health Sciences - Swetland Center for Environmental Health. This national environmental conference will focus on pesticide-free communities, opportunities for a green economy, organic lawns and community spaces, pesticides and health, Great Lakes and water, and much more.
